I am a recovering alcoholic and asked to remain anonymous for this reason for the sake of myself, family and friends.

A while ago I had an alcoholic relapse. Having been drinking I was in the deep throws of compulsion and cravings. Anyone who knows this disease will know how all consuming and powerful this can be. Even though I wanted to stop I couldn't the obsession was all encompassing along with the panic to get more. The only way out of this to the extent I was feeling this at that time had been a medical intervention. Valerie Richardson had come to my house and asked me to just trust her and that if I still then had to have a drink fine. I sat and she did EFT on me tapping on me and also gradually getting me to tap, telling me what to say and patiently and lovingly worked on me. I was truly amazed as the power of the compulsion lessened and the all-encompassing cravings subsided till they finally went. The only thing that has ever taken that away has been another drink or strong medication. Although I obviously was still physically poorly the EFT had relieved me from that driving force compelling me to continue drinking so I was then able to rest and recover. EFT is a very effective and powerful therapy. It can help you with all sorts of problems from grief to very powerful emotions. It helped me with a life long fear of chocking when I drank any thing. It’s like so many things in life. You don’t know until you try it. It will help you come to terms with problems you thought were impossible like losing a loved one.

I’ve been suffering form all kinds of hormonal problems and I have suspected Polycistic Overies. I have been in terrible pain from haemorrhoids because of my hormones, and came to Valerie feeling desperate. She helped me resolve my pain, and then we started to look at the causes of my problems. It went right back to my childhood and feeling abused. I cannot believe how different I feel now. I’m not in pain and I feel like I’ve got my life back.
